HOW DID YOUR CAREER PATH LEAD YOU TO CONTENT CREATION AND WHY?

I moved to Florida to dance for a ballet company, but lost my job during the economic recession. I went back to college to complete my degrees and upon graduating, I landed an opportunity in public relations. It was during this time that I quickly discovered the world of blogging and how much it resonated with me. Enamoured by it, I launched my own blog ‘The Style Bungalow’ in March 2014 as a creative outlet where I'd share stories, style secrets, travel tips, inspirations and musings about life in my 20s-30s.

YOUR CONTENT BACKGROUNDS AND SETTINGS ARE ALWAYS SO DREAMY. WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN YOU'RE PLANNING A SHOOT?

Thank you! I’m drawn to destinations that feel like mini-getaways from everyday life. I look for locations reminiscent of Italy, Spain, or parts of Latin America because I feel those backdrops speak to my style so naturally. I love tropical greenery too!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE NEEDLE & THREAD STYLE FOR SUMMER?

Tough to choose just one - so I'll say any of the styles in the Garland cotton print! I love wearing cotton in the summertime because it’s so hot in Florida. I also love prints! This collection was the perfect blend of both. I could easily see myself making pillows, drapes, tablecloths and more out of this gorgeous print!

YOU FEEL MOST CONFIDENT WHEN...

When I look in the mirror and tell myself, "you're perfectly imperfect." Accepting your flaws, to me at least, feels incredibly freeing and empowering.
